Welcome to my online gallery. I am a watercolorist and oil painter living and working in the Pacific NW of the US. I've been a professional artist for nearly 30 years. My work graces many private and corporate collections.

About Mitzi's Original Paintings

I use only the finest substrates (papers and canvasses) and professional quality paints. Over the years I discovered that, hmmm, I don't know anyone's taste except my own. That is to say I don't do custom framing or matting. I leave that to the buyer and his or her framer. Good framers are worth their weight in gold! I ship my watercolors in white mats and shrinkwrapping. Oils are edge painted (staples on the back).

About Mitzi's Giclee Prints

I love limited edition giclee prints! Back at the dawn of time, the ability to offer prints was just a dream for most artists. The introduction of the giclee process has allowed us to share more and more of our images with others. I think this is a healthy and exciting development in the world of art.

Giclees are outstanding reproductions on acid-free paper using inks that are more durable than the original watercolors. Don’t get me wrong: originals are still the way to go for serious art collectors, but I’m just glad my stuff doesn’t have to stay hidden over one person’s fireplace where even I don’t get to enjoy it!
