Drat! I just lost this whole, long blog entry about my studio improvements! I'm watching "Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont" while trying to type, and the young stud--i mean, young actor, in the film is completely distracting! Ladies, I recommend it HIGHLY!

Anyhow, I just got done making vast, though makeshift improvements, to my garage, converting it from car storage and watercolors and gardening to all oil painting all the time. It looks beautiful to me mostly because it was so much dirty, yucky, confusing work and I'm so glad it's DONE.

Took me weeks to dig out from under all of my hobbies and sloppiness. Took plenty of head scratching to get the lighting sort of right and things more or less conveniently placed.

Now I'm ready to go out there and freeze my ass off this winter in spite of all my space heaters and fleecewear. Hey, it beats NOT having a space by a very long shot!
